Adoption Fees only cover the basic veterinary procedures and are as follows;
Best Friends Kittens and Cats are all vet checked .. F3 vaccinated (at least the 1st) .. desexed .. microchipped .. wormed .. and on heartworm prevention.
If the kitten is too young to be desexed .. the appointment is made by Best Friends Management and paid for before you leave with your new pet .. this is included in the adoption fee.
You must keep the appointment and desex your kitten on the due appointed time or action will be taken by Best Friends Management.

GINGER is a precious little 8 month old desexed female Tortoiseshell that has had an extremely rough start to her short life.
Ginger has come from neglectful home where she was left to wander the neighbourhood with no food water or shelter for days on end and received very little attention from her owner.
Despite this neglect Ginger is an affectionate bright gentle-natured kitten who desperately loves attention .. she likes nothing more than to curl up on a warm lap and be cuddled.
Ginger purrs constantly and is happy just to be with someone who loves her .. her lonely start to life has meant that she truly appreciates a warm bed .. lots of healthy food and someone to show her that they care .. Ginger is the ultimate lap cat!!
Ginger has lived with an older male cat and has boarded with cats once in the past .. she is slightly timid around children as she has had little exposure to them but with time and care I think she would become a wonderful family member.
She was not litter tray trained before I began fostering her but after one day she uses it religiously.

ReCon loves a scratch and will normally go to anyone so long as they are gentle .. he is very friendly and likes cuddles .. he also is good with children especially older kids.
MAX loves a cuddle and loves to sleep on the bed with you but is still a little scared of strangers .. he will make a great cat just needs that little bit extra time to warm to you .. he is good with the kids so long as they are not too rough.
MAX and RECON (Rex) are very close and Max depends on Rex as he is the stronger one .. when they first arrived and were very scared they stayed together .. now they playing together .. they are both friendly .. happy .. curious and social cats who like to be involved in anything you do.
Recon and Max like lots of cuddles and affection and love to play games .. they are energetic and interactive .. I am introducing them to their collars and bells and the outside world gradually .. they are fostered with 2 other cats and are all adjusting surprisingly well to each other.
Max and Recon should be adopted together .. to separate them will be far too distressing for them.

SLUMCAT MILLIONAIRE (Slumcat) earned his name after being found in the drain of a shopping centre car park in April 2009.
He is approx: 1 1/2 years old and has been desexed .. microchipped and vaccinated.
Slumcat is great with small children and does not scratch or bite and is not in the slightest shy of dogs.
From the moment Slumcat came into my household I knew that he was one special cat .. he is extremely confident in any situation and loves it when new people come over to visit.
We have had several kittens come and go since he has been in our home and he has almost taken the mother role on for them by bathing them .. protecting them from the bigger cats and also playing with them.
Slumcat would be a wonderful addition to almost any household .. though would probably not be suited to a home with an older cat as he can be quite dominant but loves kittens!
Many posters have been put up at vets .. pounds and internet sites but unfortunately no-one has come forward to collect him .. this poor boy just wants his own home desperately.

MOOKS is a little sweety all he wants is pats .. he wants pats so much that he puts up with my 14 month old daughter who pushes him around and trys to sit on him.
Mooks was very scared when he first arrived but once he realised that there was nothing to be scared of he was fine .. he will follow you around the house all day just to get a pat.
MERLIN is a little bit more stand off-ish although he likes you to come and pat him .. he puts up with my daughter patting him most of the time .. he will be a very good cat when he settles in .. he just likes to lay around and do his own thing although he is very big on chasing things .. he is the best fly catcher in the world.
MERLIN and MOOKS would love to stay together to comfort each other but they can be separate if it is in their best interest.
