About Missy
MISSY was an ex-stray and has had a hard life for her young age .. she is a very loving dog to humans .. Missy would be best suited to a home with no dogs and someone with the time to train and socialise her.
She needs someone who can slowly socialise her to other pets .. Missy will grow up to be a wonderful dog and in the short time I have had her she has learnt very quickly .. Missy is very energetic and needs room to play and good high fencing.
Missy is very sweet and loving and just wants to find the right owner to love and care for her as she was abused in the past ..
she is currently not desexed because Missy is waiting for pins in her leg to be removed from an accident before we found her.
We are fostering her at the moment and hope to find someone to pay for the $400 for her Vet account and also pay extra for MIssy to be desexed and Microchipped.

LULU is a beautiful girl who is good around other dogs solializing but needs to be with her person most of the time .. she would suit to a one pet home where someone can spend a lot of time with her.
Lulu is happiest when she is sitting at your feet or snuggled in bed with you or playing fetch .. she is not a dog’s dog .. she is very much a people dog.
Swedish Vallhunds are cattle herding dogs and so are very very active and very intelligent .. if you do not like being licked to death then Lulu is not the dog for you .. she loves licking!
Lulu is very scared of storms and will escape if she is not kept inside at these times .. when Lulu is outside she needs a secure yard as she does like to go exploring.
Lulu is a cream colour which is not sought after in the breed as it is a softer coat and not as hardy as the standard dictates .. this means her skin is a little sensitive and needs to be looked after or she will get rashes and itches.

Lulu coat is a spitz type double coat and so sheds quite a lot .. her new family will need to be OK with hair everywhere!
Most of all Lulu needs what I do not have enough of .. lots of time spent with her .. she is an awesome dog and she does not cope well with a lack of attention and interaction and gets anxiety.
Lulu is not a set and forget type of dog .. she has to have a human friend that will be a constant companion.

TOMBO is intensely loyal and desperately needy for love, and quite hyperactive .. totally dedicated to pleasing whoever shows him love .. including absolute obedience with commands such as come .. sit .. stay .. lay down etc.
This scruffy rascal has a beautiful and peculiar habit of smiling at the people he loves (have a look at pics) although a little disconcerting at first everyone adores this unique trait.
Found as a pup in a rubbish tip with his brother .. his first four months of life are a mystery and he has some left over traits .. these include a great fear of strangers and unfamiliar dogs.
It is also a display of absolute protection and devotion for the person he is with. Given a half a chance though, he warms to everyone who shows him affection or tosses him a ball/stick .. this includes dogs of all sizes .. both sexes .. as well as humans.
His fear does sometimes result in aggressive barking and it is sometimes difficult to calm him although he has NEVER bitten nor attempted to bite anyone.
Tombo needs a home where his fears are clearly understood .. with children he normally shows much less mistrust and once familiar is 100% safe .. he was at one point best friend to a 10 year old girl and all her friends.
Completely obsessed with the game fetch .. nothing pleases him more and it is a great way to exercise his never-ending energy .. Tom loves the beach and swimming .. he likes sleeping indoors but has dealt with sleeping out.
He is had no health problems although he needs a strict but normal diet as he has allergies to different foods .. Tombo would appreciate another doggy friend but he has lived in so many situations he has learnt to adapt quickly and he normally ignores cats.
Tombo so deserves a loving home and only up for adoption (as of now) as a very last resort.

DELILAH is an ex-abuse case that luckily found her way into a shelter .. with no time left she was collected by Animal Endeavours Inc who are now fostering her until she finds her perfect family.
Delilah is extremely friendly .. eager to please and loving .. however she is not house trained and will aggressively resource guard her meal from other dogs .. she will need to be separated at meal times and when food is around.
We cannot blame her .. for 6 years her food bowl was the only source of satisfaction she had .. her ideal home would be with someone who is happy to dedicate the time to her recovery and retraining and with lots of love to spare.

KYAH is a beautiful girl full of energy and is a very loyal pet .. she is protective of her property and would be a great watch dog .. Kyah is smaller than her breed would suggest.
Kyah is really good with cats and has done basic training .. she knows to sit when told and will not eat unless she is allowed .. Kyah requires a new home with a nice large backyard and someone who can give her the regular exercise she needs and enjoys .. she loves and deserves all attention that she can get .. Kyah has a lot of love to give .. she absolutely adores human females and will bring a smile to your face.
Kyah is very playful and loves to play fetch with her toys .. she has been taught to go fetch her toys from the backyard and bring to you for playing .. however sometimes she would rather bounce around you with her toy and show you what she has got and what she can do .. to get Kyah to fetch her toys all you need to say is Where’s Ted? and she knows exactly what you mean.
We have taken Kyah to dog parks numerous times for her to release some energy .. she loves playing with the other dogs in the park .. Kyah gets so excited that she has a friend to run around with .. there has not been one dog she does not get along with.

SPECKLES is a 15 month old puppy who was surrendered to a vet following a car accident that shattered her back leg since having it operated on it has healed wonderfully and Speckles is ready for her new home.
She has an interestingly coloured red merle coat with blue chips in one eye .. Speckles is a knockout that for sure and exudes a loveable energy that will melt your heart.
She is not very big but fairly stocky so likes to play rough. She loves all people right from tall men down to toddlers .. Speckles is a happy go lucky kind of girl .. super dog friendly and gets along with dogs of all sizes.
Speckles is currently in a multiple dog home and is very tolerant of puppies .. she would be best in a home where she has a doggy playmate to burn energy with.
Speckles is a busy girl who would love nothing more than a run but settles down perfectly to sleep in a crate at night.
She is still experiencing new things so can be a bit nervous at first but she very quickly comes out of her shell and shines as the beautiful dog she knows she is!
Speckles has started her basic obedience and is keen to learn and very food motivated. She can not wait for her new family.

ZIGGY is playful .. affectionate .. friendly and in need of a good home with a big yard to play in.
Ziggy loves the beach and enjoys walks .. he would suit a family with older kids who have no other dogs or an active individual or couple.
Ziggy loves nothing more than cuddles .. he likes to protect his environment so does not suit dog parks as he likes to protect .. but if he is in open spaces like the beach and he loves other dogs.

SCORTH is a very sweet very friendly Amstaff X .. who was saved from death row by a rescue group that specialises in working dogs.
Lucky for Scorch someone thought he was a Kelpie and he got out in the nick of time!
But this boy does not have a lot of working dog in him (if any at all) and is looking for a much more recreational' life .. he really just loves to play and cuddle .. play a bit and cuddle for even longer!
Scorch is only a pup and his foster carer is an experienced trainer so his toilet training and basic obedience are developing in leaps and bounds.

CHOPPER is very energetic .. he does not have an aggressive bone in his body but instead he is is very playful and full of love.
He loves kids and loves and needs daily exercise .. he needs lots of love and attention .. Chopper is good with other dogs when out walking but has never lived with another dog before.
Chopper probably would be best suited to a one pet family to start with .. his new home must have secure fencing for his own safety.
