A note from Roys Carer Here is a video of Roy and an escapee who I just brought into the yard over Easter .. they met without incident a minute or two earlier on Roys turf. Roy was tied up as I was getting some gravel delivered and the spaniel just ran down the back to meet him. As you can see .. the runaway spaniel is a good natured little thing and Roys body language is quite dominant but if you think that it will help his cause feel free to post and or edit it. Update from Charlies Carer: Charlie is such a cool guy .. he came to us with some general anxiety .. thunderstorm phobia and a tendency for escaping and wandering. With some boundaries and good daily exercise he has really settled well and these issues have not been a problem here with me in Foster Care. He has learnt some basic manners .. how to come when he is called and we showed him how to heel on a loose leash .. Charlie greets you in the morning with such enthusiasm .. he is very motivational! Charlie may be 10 years old but he is not slowing down yet .. he is a really fit active bloke .. he has enjoyed daily morning 6 kilometre walks with the other dogs in our pack. He really really loves to run and enjoys a short 20 minute run beside the bike in the afternoon to the creek for a dip and back again .. Charlie has slimmed down considerably since being with us. He hss got pretty good dog social skills so long as he gets to drain his energy regularly with daily walks and runs .. other wise he can be a bit excitable and boisterous. He is very playful .. loves fetch and tug of war and general romping about with the other dogs .. Charlie is very respectful of the cat .. he gives a lot of respect around food and is good with kids. Charlie is very responsive to firm confident corrections and happy to work for food or play rewards .. he is very trainable .. this old dog has got plenty of new tricks in him yet.
