BRISBANE (Aspley) QUEENSLAND
I have 2 purebred Staffy’s that need a new home .. Zak is 10 years old and Zoe is 6 years old .. they are father and daughter .. We have had both dogs since they were puppies however .. since we have had our 2 children in the past 3 years and we currently run a very hectic business they have both lacked the attention they deserve .. Both dogs are desexed and healthy .. even though Zak is 10 .. Zoe has kept him young and they both love running and playing together .. They both love people and thrive on human attention .. They are however very strong dogs & would suit a family with children not younger than primary school age .. They are quite well behaved dogs in that they don’t dig or climb fences .. They can get quite excitable when you first meet with them though .. We would like it if they could go to a home together but if not would be happy with 2 good homes where they can receive the attention they deserve.

GUS is a male purebred Staffy, born 8th October 2003. He is brindle with a white chest and four white paws .. He has a very gentle and quiet nature, is great with kids and other dogs, and is very loyal .. He is microchipped .. He will need someone that has time to walk him and play with him more than i can due to just having a baby.
He will need a very good fence to keep him in; he is able to jump 6ft fences if the horizontal beams are on your side of the fence cause he can grip onto that to pull himself over .. The ideal fence for gus would be a 6ft colorbond fence as it is too slippery for him to jump up on .. He will also dig under fences if he can find a spot .. Gus also is unable to be tied to a chain and left at home as he is able to get out of a harness and collar with ease.
He is a pleasure to walk though on a lead and harness and he will stay with you the whole way right by your side .. We currently have another male dog that lives with him and they get along very well .. He knows how to sit and shake hands and understands when told to wait for his dinner.
It is a hard decision for me to have to do this but unfortunely i cannot find a house to rent that has a good fence to keep him in .. and can't afford to keep fixing fences to try and keep him in .. Please if you could give a wonderful home to Gus please contact me.

LENNY is a beautiful boy of around 18months .. We’ve debated finding him another home before, but in the end couldn’t do it, however, for his sake, now we are very reluctantly giving him away .. Being a staffy-boxer X, he loves being around people and has become a bit of an escape artist when he’s been left on his own too long .. He needs good secure fencing, a nice sized yard and someone willing to put in the time and effort to continue with the training we have begun.
He’s fully house-trained and responds well to simple commands such as ‘sit’, ‘down’, ‘off’, and ‘wait .. He is very intelligent and a real character .. He is very gentle with humans, loves kids and is always eager to please .. He is still a puppy, so is very boisterous at times .. However, he is happy to laze around sleeping all day if he has company.
Lenny was a stray, and we are pretty sure he has been abused .. He was quite scared when he first came to us .. He hates small animals- possums, cats and other small dogs, which he will attack if he gets the opportunity .. He needs to be walked on a lead at all times and will give you a good workout so he's good for people who like a run .. His social skills are terrible with other dogs- he has no idea how to approach them and is always in their face desperate to play .. Consequently, he’s got into a few scraps .. At other times, he seems to take to another dog immediately and they get on famously with no problems at all, but at the moment he’s unpredictable and although we have totally fenced our yard now, we go away to a holiday house often and he can (and does) get out.
Len-Len needs to continue the slow socialization we have started with a patient owner so he can feel secure and not on the offensive all the time.
We won’t give him away to just anyone, we want to find the right home for him with wonderful, patient loving owners .. Lenny is a very special boy and we want him to be with someone who can give him what he needs to continue developing into the wonderful dog he can be.
Loves: Long walks, fossicking through rubbish bins, tug of war, playing with squeaky yellow chicken, being with people, tummy rubs, going in the car, bones, muddy puddles, long runs.
Hates: Small furry creatures, esp small Paris Hilton type dogs, possums, cats, baths.
