Indigo is an amazingly smart girl. She has big pupils and stares into your soul, which is a little off putting at first, but I think its because she is so switched on and understands people well. Indigo hasn’t had the greatest start, she was in a rural pound and then in a family who weren't really into training or exercise or anything that could help her. So she is on a steep learning curve with her carer Coral. But, to her credit, she is loving it. Indigo is very responsive to food and cuddles and praise, all she wants to do is please you. She does pull on the lead but with regular walks and gentle instruction she is learning to be more gentle. She also is a little mouthy when playing, nothing major, just a puppy trait she didn't grow out of, and this is the ONLY reason we say no small kids. Indigo LOVES kids, all sizes, she is super excited when she sees kids and wants to jump and lick and play, so we think kids over 12 years old would be best. But with regular training, lots of gentle quiet time, Indie-Girl will learn to be the best companion anyone could hope for.
She would be great for someone who loves hiking or kayaking or someone who wants a friend to hang with, her loyalty is deep and her soft side is just lovely.
